Risk Taking forum November 2015

 

This forum looked at different approaches to risk taking in your lesson.

 

Risk taking can be split into two different approaches; firstly you as a teacher taking risks with the types of activities you use to help students to progress. Secondly, encouraging a learning environment which enocurages risk taking. Use the resources below to learn more about these two areas. 

 

There is a really good example from the Guardian Teacher Network of an English "My Best Lesson". This is a great example of how risks can pay off.
